Site Is Showing Wrong Number of Google Reviews

Are you concerned that your Google review display count is not accurate? If the Google review display appears to be showing the wrong number of reviews, then it may not be an error. It may instead be due to a number of factors including:

  1. The website is cached and needs to be republished by your client manager
  2. You have multiple offices & Google My Business profiles. Please keep in mind that Google reviews are dynamically displayed based on the website visitor's location:
  • Whenever someone visits to your site, the LISA admin notes their IP address and displays the Google review count from the nearest location.
  • If a website visitor is not near any location (i.e. is more than 50 miles away from the location center), then the site will display your on-site review count instead.

If you're seeing an unexpected number of Google reviews, doublecheck your current location/IP address and compare it to the rules above. Google reviews are updated every 2 hours, so the count will always be up-to-date.

If you're still seeing a discrepancy or have questions about multiple locations, please reach out to your Spectrum Client Manager or submit a support ticket.
